Our vision is to ensure that each guest receives prompt, professional, courteous service, to ensure that all guests are treated with the respect and dignity they deserve and that every customer is completely satisfied by the conclusion of each event. We consistently maintain clean and comfortable premises for our guests and staff. We only serve nutritional, well-prepared meals- using only quality ingredients. We earn the pleasure of being able to have the opportunity to serve our clients and their guests. Our team is professional and very passionate about making sure every event is top notch, we strive for perfection at every event we cater. Marna’s Catering has very competitive prices for all events, we work with our clients budgets and are willing to adjust our menu prices based on what they can afford. We always provide high quality food and service no matter how small or big the event is.

Bio

Chef Diaz was born in New York City but grew up in the Central American paradise of Costa Rica. It was in his family’s restaurant in Costa Rica that Chef Diaz learned the native dishes and his signature skills with ingredients and flavor combinations. Diaz’s creative menu reflects his heritage, training and experience and combines it with great American fare.

Bio

Nicole has been in the customer service for over 10 years, she loves pleasing clients, its more of passion than anything else.

With a degree in Business, Nicole will always make sure that each client receives a response within 24 hours.

“I understand how important the process of organizing an event and receiving a quote in a timely fashion.

From rentals to planning a perfect menu, I make sure my clients are pleased and stress free during all of our events.

I am mother of two boys and in my free time I love to lay in the sun, put some miles on my bike, and hanging out with her dogs Lisy and Tica.”


Kirsten Anselowitz

Bio

Kirsten grew up right here in Robbinsdale, just down the road from Marna's. After graduating from Saint Paul College Culinary Arts program in 2011 she moved to Colorado where she expanded greatly on her catering experience. While living in Winter Park Kirsten worked her way up to lead catering cook at Devil's Thumb Ranch, a four-star resort. During her time in the mountains Kirsten worked as a private chef for families in the Vail/Beaver Creek area and also participated in Aspen Food & Wine. Before joining the Marna's team Kirsten was working as an event chef for one of the largest catering companies in Denver. Kirsten is Marna’s Executive Chef and works closely with Carlos to create and customize menus for all weddings and events, as well as overseeing the entire kitchen operations. When she's not making delicious things in the kitchen you can find her catching a baseball game with her husband or hanging out with her dog Rocko.

Carlos Aguilera

Bio

With a major in Hospitality Management, Carlos joined Marna's Catering in 2015. He started as an Event Captain, leading our service team and working closely with all the vendors involved in the events. In 2018, Carlos accepted the Catering Event Manager position and he is now working with all our current and potential clients, as well as hosting tastings, finalizing details for events, and managing the Catering Team. Outside of work, Carlos enjoys spending time with his dog and continues studying to achieve a Business Degree. Carlos represents a clear example of our vision and mission, his passion for event planning and customer service, go above and beyond! .

Bio

Sara started working for Marna’s in 2018 as a server in the restaurant and at our catering events. She expressed her passion for the food industry through giving each customer a unique experience. Later, she went on to take many responsibilities throughout the business such as meeting with clients at tastings, representing Marna’s at wedding fairs, supervising Marna’s Eatery and Lounge, and now, running our catering events as an event manager. Her favorite thing about working in this industry is providing a fulfilling, wholesome, and successful day for whoever she is working with; In her free time she enjoys painting and watching live music with her friends. .
